Department of Computer Science and Engineering

Cyberspace touches nearly every part of our daily lives. It's the broadband networks beneath us and the wireless signals around us, the local networks in our schools and hospitals and businesses, and the massive grids that power our nation. It's the classified military and intelligence networks that keep us safe, and the World Wide Web that has made us more interconnected than at any time in human history. We must secure our cyberspace to ensure that we can continue to grow the nation’s economy and protect our way of life. (Barack Obama, President, United States)

The above Statement reinforces the need of trained technical professionals in Cyber Security. To address this need of trained professionals the University has designed a Masters level Course in Cyber Security. This course aims at developing talent in the hitherto unexplored area of Cyber Security.

Department Of Mathematics

Mathematics, the one branch of knowledge which is widely known as the mother of all sciences, is of fundamental importance for each student of Science, Computer Science, Engineering and Technology. Seeing the importance of the subject Department of Mathematics aims to make the students familiar with mathematical thinking and Applied Mathematics. It caters the needs of the under graduate as well as postgraduate students of the University. Topics like Matrices, Modern Algebra, Linear Algebra and Numerical Methods, etc. are taught to the students of Cyber Security at PG level.
